Lauren Quattlebaum
Veterinary Technician and Social Media Content Coordinator
Lauren is a veterinary technician with experience in emergency care, surgery, and preventative medicine. Lauren’s love for animals started as a young girl and grew into a career in animal care back in 2013 when she started volunteering at the Southeastern Raptor Center while attending Auburn University to receive her Bachelor’s of Science Degree.
Lauren’s love for exotics blossomed at the raptor center while she was able to assist in rehabilitation and education of the birds of prey. After graduation, she moved down to South Florida and started working at a nature center. There she was responsible for the daily care of various birds of prey, snakes, turtles, and deer. Lauren moved back to Montgomery, AL in 2019 when she started working at a local veterinary hospital and eventually moved on to work at Carriage Hills Animal Hospital, the local veterinary emergency hospital in Montgomery.
In her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. She also volunteers with a local 501c3 nonprofit, Raptor Ridge Wildlife Education, that provides the opportunity to educate the public with birds of prey. Her favorite bird of prey is the Turkey Vulture, often feeling like they are undervalued and misunderstood for the roles they play in our ecosystem.
Lauren has been a member of our team since we opened in August 2024.
